With refrence to MilyDepartment letter no 573 of the 18th may last obsrves for such further communication to the C.in C a s may be considerd necessary that the instructions conveyed in mily Department of 15th September 1854. to the quater master General have accurately under the stood by the Committee held at meerut to report on the applicability to the Bengal presidency.
