Question whether Candidates successful in the Indian Administrative etc. Service Examination 1948 may be given option to accept. The office of apptt. after the 1949 Examination results are out as some of them may qualify for a letter service on the results of 194 Examination. Decision that a Candidates successful at a subsequent examination for a higher service should be allowed an opportunity to accept that service in preference to a lower service to which he might have been alltoted/appointed on the results of the previous examination
