All India Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1955-Punjab-Question whether it is necessary that the member concerned should be heard by the State Government irrespective of the fact whether an Inquiry Officer has been appointed to Inquire into the Charges or not. Decision-It is not necessary where the officers in person before the inquiry starts it will be sufficient if an opportunity of personal hearing is given to him in the Course of the Inquiry
