Decision that under rule 18 read with rule 112 (II) of the Los. Provident fund rules as noncurrent (i.e. of the 29-9-24) a subscriber to the fund has a technical right to have his balance in the fund retained with Govt. up to the end of 6 months after his resignation from the I.E.S. and that his P.F. Accounts will in that event contained to be credited with interest up to the end of the month proceeding that in which final payment is on his application made by the A.O. up to the end of 6 months whichever is earlier.II. Proposed amendment of rule (4) of the new I.E.S. P.F. Rules (i.e. of the 3rd june 1942) so as to make it clear that the rules as not confer on a subscriber a right to receive interest on his deposit upto the end of the six months after the end of the month in which he quits service of the G.O. is ready to make payment at an earlier date.III. Similar amendment proposed to the draft I.E.S. P.F. Rules and to rule 10 of the existing rulesIV Question whether the rules of the Defence saving Fund should be placed and statutory footing i.e. whether the rules should be made under the relevant provisions of G.O. I act 1935 and issued separately by each of the respective authorities i.e. the 5 of 5 the G.G. in council & Provincial Govt.
