Copy of a statement of Munshi Muhammad Sahib Ali Khan dated 10th Oct. 1870 under the seal of Kacheri Meadar Agency States that his father had been a stanched supporter of the English but due to his loyality to the Zoar Anwar Singh in Collesion with the Mewati`s of Mandsore had looked Rs. One Lakh. They also plundered the people and struck a reign of towar in the area. Therefore the complaint must be given the indemnity or compensation by the company for the losses he suffered at their hands in recognition of his loyality and fidelity to the Company.
