Submits, Copy of a letter from the Adjit General of the ARmy and of the Reply given there to with sir C. napeer Protest in original having refrence to Govt. Go. of the 3rd April last, and observations that the Executive of cons'ns iof Dec'r 1849. and jany. 1850. not enable H.S to explanation clealy the details of this tranction and requests that a full clear statements of the facts may be prepares and that H.H in c. will with it be so good as to communicate to H.S his opinion as to whether there is attshable, and if so where it also requests that when this statements is transmitting to the G.g that H.H in will forwards the protestsof the C.in C to the Ct. of Dr's and with it the explanation which appear ot be necessary.
