With refrence to a letter of the 16th Ultimo, submit for consideration and order Copy of one from the officiating army clothing Agents 1st Division reporting that embrodered Brass Grenades evere intended for under the instructions of the Court of directors, published in G.O.C.c 10th sept'r1849. specifying the alteration in the Dress and ca of the artillery under the Head Foot arty men Dress Coatee a Brass Grenade on each side of the Collaras their Indent is nearly ready for transmission recommend that they may be authorized to insert the requets quantity of worsted Grenades which have hithere to been used, unless its in intended that the Collar should be without any distinction ormament and if necessary that a further refrence on the subject be made to the Court.
