With refrence to G.O G.G 20th march 1851. refers, for order, the Claim to staff allowance, as assistant, field, Engineer preferred by Lt. C. F packe, of the4th Native Infantry fo the temporary charge of the 7th company sappers and miner from company sappers and miner from 16th oct'r 1851 to 17th jany 1852. during which interval he had passed an examination in Field Engineering.
