With refrence to a letter from teh quater master General of the army reporting further damage done to the wales, of the fort of mooltan, by late, heavy rain and conveying the recommendation of His Excellency the Commander in chief that the Fort should be abandoned for all military purpose, as soon as practicable, with advertence, also to the 2nd para of my letter no 329 of the 14th may 1852.
