With refrence to a letter of 5th Instt, relative to appointing an Experienced Commssiariat officer at Peshawur without delay, state that a Copy of the same has been forwarded for the informationan and guidance of the joint Depy commissary General and that their report of the 11th Feby 1850. will have informed Govt. that Lt.Coll Curtis resumed charge of the Agra commissariat on his return from lahore the majority of the Board officer observation with regard to the order of Govt. for posting cfaptain Davidson to the Charge of the Peshawur Division and state that they have instructed the joint depy Commissiary General that in the event of Lt.Coll Curtis or Captain Reddie having already, been ordered to preceed to Peshwur, as previous by directed the arrangements is not be disturbed, but if fortheir wise captain Davidson is to be ordered to take charge of the Division.
