Submits copy despatch from the officer in charge of the office of Supg Engr. Lower Provinces reporting the occurence of a fire in the native infantry lines at Dimapore in April last state that they have sanctioned an advance of 500 Rs. from the annual general advance of 1848/49 for the repairs of the Public Buildings which had been injuried and called for the submission of an estimate for the repairs to the Buildings forward a copy of the proceedings of the court of inquirty with reference to the ocurence of the fire observations.
