With refrence to a letter of the 15th Instt, enquiring whehter the Establishment supg Engineer Nagpore sutsidiary forces is to share in the benefits of the new rate of Exchange laid down in G.O 30th June 1841, refrence to his letter of the 18th june 1849, mentioning the graund , on which he had come to the Conclusion that the above G.O had refrence only to fighting men and the permanent Native Establishment attached to Corps , and not to Pay office and Commissariat Establishment and that with advertson, to the Estblishement.under the supg Engineer being of the latter Class , they must necessary be excluded from the indulgence grated by the abovementioned G.O OP returned.
