Transmits copy lr addressed to the secy. at Madras states a similar Lr. has also been sent ot Bombay & request that the presdt. in council will direct the Poll.deptt. to furnish the Mily.Deptt. with a disposition list, mounthly, of all civil, local or Contingent corps, & of all detachments thereof, the returns of which are now forwarded direct to the Pol.deptt.
