With refer. to a letter of the 2nd June last, requested that the Mily. Aud. Genl. may be called upon for a reprot on teh claims to compensation for loss of property sustained by the mess of H.Ms. 3rd Regt. & portions of clothing & equipemnts sustained by certain of the regt. during the recent operations in Offy. before any decision is passed upon them.
