Regarding the honor to transmit copy of a further correspondence with the Government of the North- Western Provinces, showing that a reduction of Rupees 50,000 per mensem, or 6 lacs per annum, has already been effected as a preliminary measure, in the cost of the Police of those Provinces, and that a further reduction of about 15 lacs is anticipated.
