Casual leave during a period of deputation abroad can be granted provided (i) It does not have the effect of extending the period of deputation. 2. In countries where all inclusive rates of halting allowance have been prescribed such allowances should not be paid during casual leave. In countries where split paid as allowance besides this, the officer casual leave and besides this, the officer will have to pay for the cost of accommodation rented for him by the mission concerned
