Referring to the M.P.'s reply, Moreover, at the informal Board meeting on 21.3.68, the topic of whether Railways should issue a general directive specifying the course of action to be followed when a Divisional Supervisor receives a request from a member of Parliament for an immediate discussion or to meet with him at his residence in connection with official matters was discussed. The Board felt that it would be challenging to issue instructions that would establish a set procedure to cover every possible scenario that might occasionally arise
