1) Passing of AMIME Examination by the Special Class Apprentices in the AMIE Examination held in 1954. 2) Instructions in respect of Special Cl. Apprentices, who have not completed all the sections of the AMIME Examination till August, 1954, were issued to the effect that they should be warned suitably to pass the remaiging section of the examination. 3) Note to the HM on behalf of Shri S.D. Dariya of 1947 group regarding his non posting to a working post-position explained to the HM. 4) Letter from Shri Shah Nawaz Khan, parliamentary Secy., to the Minister for Railway, on behalf of Shri V. Laoria SCA of 1943 group regarding putting him to working post- Replied that Shri Laoria should put forth more effort to pass the examination. 5) Proposal from the GM North Eastern Railway to put Shri Dariya into working post although he did not pass Section B of the AMIME Examination-not agreed to. 6) Decision that syllabus of training of Special Class Apprentices during the extended period of apprenticeship should be drawn by the CME concerned so as to give the apprentice training in sections in which he is weak. 7) Decision that those Special Class Apprentices of 1947, 48, and 49 groups, who have completed 6 years and who were not put into working posts for not having passed at least Sections A and B of the AMIME Examination may be allowed to go into working posts as a special case. The apprentices involved being S/Shree S.D. Dariya of 47 group R.C. Gopal of 48 group and Shri A.K. Tiwari of 49 group. 8) Decision that Shri K. Das Gupta who had resigned from service and who had not been confirmed as he did not pass the AMIME Examination may be allowed Government contribution of Provided Fund
