Reference from the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the relaxation of upper age limit for Departmental candidates for the TT and CD. Decision that:- i. Five years age concession allowed to Deptt. candidates for recruitment to the E.E.D, S.E.D. and T.P.M.E. should continue with the provision that no candidate should take the examination more than three times under the concession. ii. The deptt. candidates for recruitment to the I.R.S.E. should be given age concession of 3 years with the provision that no candidate can take the examination more than twice under the concession. iii. Commission's proposal that (a) permanent employees and (b) temporary employees who have put in not less than 3 years service should be allowed the age relaxation, provided this condition is applied uniformly for all service. iv. Age concession admissible to the deptt. candidates for recruitment to other service through the I.A.S. Examination should be extended to the deptt. candidates of the TT & CD
