1. Decision that a Ruler should not be recommended for th ``G`` of the senior Indian Order unless he possesses the ``G`` of the junior one ( Case of H.H. the Maharana of Udaipur). (2) His Majesty`s desire that no one ought to receive an honour of a grade lower than that which he already possesses. (3) Conferment of double honours for the same services upon Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel H.L. Ismay, viz., C.B. and C.I.E. Decision to allow the award of the C.I.E. to lapse without the issue of a Gazette notification.
