With reference to No. 452, dated 30th April last, reports on the hill tribe, called Shindoos, who in January last made a raid upon a village in Chittagong; and proposes measures for bringing under the control of British authority these people, as well as other hill tribes in the district of Akyab who are in the habit of committing predatory inroads upon each other.
