Decision :- (1) That the Royal Salute and the British National Anthem are the prerogative of the Representatives of His Majesty. (2) That under no circumstances should a Royal Salute by any guard be given in honour of a Ruler and that only a General Salute should be given. (3) That it is not considered desirable to fetter the discretion of Darbars by laying down that the National Anthem should be played in the States only when the Viceroy is Present.
