Decision that in computing the period of detention after which life-convicts may be released, Crown remissions should be deducted from the full term of the sentence viz, 20 or 25 years, the 14 years` rule being subsequently applied. Suggestion that in future life-convicts serving their sentences elsewhere than in the Andamans Settlement should be excepted from grants of Crown remission, negatived.
