Question whether the duty payable under the Court Fees Act, 1870, in respect of grants of probates and letters of administration to the estates of deceased persons should be calculated on the value of the property on the date of applying for such a grant, or on the date of swearing the affidavit of assets or valuation statement in accordance with the procedure prescribed by the High Court.
