Amendment of rule 18 of the rules for the examination in the vernacular languages of European and Eurasian officers, other than members of the Indian Civil Service in the Madras Presidency so as to provide for the admission of European and Eurasian officers of the Jail Department below the rank of Deputy Jailor to the third class vernacular test.
