In reply to letter dated 11th June 1869, No. 43-157, communicates observations on the conduct of Captain Tottenham while setting boundary disputes in the Rewah State, and expresses strong disapproval of his having flogged a peon while thus employed, and requests that this may be intimated to that officer for warning and guidance.
