With reference to No. 678-51, dated 6th ultimo, consents to the proposal to grant 1,000 acres of waste land in the Hoshungabad District to the reward sanctioned in 1858 ; but before passing final orders, desires to be informed of the precise terms on which it is contemplated to grant the land, such ass the period during which it is to be held rent-free, and the proportion of rent which is to be taken when the assessment begins to be levied.
