Estimates of expenditure in the Chitral Agency for 1894-1895 and 1895-1896. Extra grant of Rs 2,000 to meet the cost of entertaining the chiefs and headmen who attended the Gilgit Darbar in 1895. Additional grant of one-and-a-half lakhs of rupees to meet the extra political expenditure during 1895-1896 in connection with the Chitral and the maintenance of communication by the Peshawar-Chitral road. Acting promotions in the Gilgit Agency office consequent on the deputation on special duty of the Superintendent of the office. Source from which the Superintendent pay while on special duty was met.
