Decision of the question raised by the Government of Bombay as to whether payments to Native Chiefs under Treaty and certain allowances should be exempted from the tax under Act II. Annual payment of Rs.10,000 to His Highness the Nawab of Cambay in compensation for salt duties relinquished by him exempted from the tax under Act II of 1886.
