Approval of draft rules regulating the strength, position and promotion of gazetted officers of Opium Department.Decision that when a Deputy Collector on deputation in the Opium Department in the United Provinces is appointed to holding charge of a Division he should be granted a special pay of Rs.100, in stead of the usual Rs.50 , a month , subject to the maximum emoluments of Rs.750 a month.
