Appeal of Messrs. Manton & Co. against the lavy of duty at 10 per cent. ad valorem on Schultze smokeless sporting gunpowder imported by them. Order that such powder should, under existing law, be charged with duty on a valuation of Rs.1 per pound. Decision that gunpowder of all kinds shall in future be assessed to duty ad valorem.
