Conditions of Service. Proposal that the Secretary of State may issue a direction that the powers which were conferred specifically on the Governor General in Council under the rules relating to ------------------------that were in force immediately before the commencement of Part III fo the Government of India Act, 1935, in respect of all Secretary of State`s officers shall continue to be exercised by the Governor General in Council until the present emergency comes to an end.
