The Government of the North-Western Provinces and Oudh informed, in reply to the enquiry whether the Government of India have under consideration the question of extending to those Provinces the system in force in the Punjab of paying Military pensions at Post Offices, that a general scheme for the payment of the pensions of Military pensioners through the agency of the Post Office is under the consideration of the Government of India.
