Objection raised by the Accountant General, United Provinces, to the sanction accorded by the Government of India to the acceptance by Mr. B. d`O. Darley, Executive Engineer. United Provinces, of an allowance of Rs. 200 an month from the Benares State for the supervision and inspection of certain irrigation works in the State, in addition to his ordinary duties, on the ground that the allowance being of a recurring nature, sanction of the Secretary is required.---
