Creation of the post of an Additional Judge in the Oudh Chief Court from the 12th July 1941 up to the beginning of the Court`s annual vacation in 1942. Appointment of Rai Bahadur Priya Charan Agarwal, a District and Sessions Judge, to be an Additional Judge in the new post. Other acting appointments in the Allahabad High Court and the Oudh Chief Court. Consideration that the wording of section 222(3) of the Government of India Act, 1953, entails the appointment of Additional Judges for Fixed periods.
