Grant of leave preparatory to retirement to Colonel Brierley, Inspector-General, Civil Hospitals and Prisons, N.W.F.P. and retention of Lt.Col. J. Taylor, who was due for promotion to that post, in his present post of Director, Central Research Institute, Kasauli, on the pay of Inspector-General from the date of Colonel Brierley`s departure on leave, coupled with promotion to supernumerary rank of Coloniel from the date of Brierley`s retirement.
