Orders were issued on the 15th Ultimo to discontinue the allowances of the Superintendent of Teak Plantations as noted within, and the Collectors of Sylhet, Bauleah & Jungle Mehals were instructed thro the Revenue Department to assume charge of the Planations in their respective Districts a report has been required on the Tax Mihal & Gardens at Serampore.
