Letter from Lieut.Col.R.Kyd to Mr.E.Hay, Secretary, intimating that he has received several trees, plants and fruits, requesting that a package of seeds of the Persian tobacco, a Cabul ram and a Persian sheep may be forwarded to the Court of Directors, suggesting that some tea plants received form China shold be sent to the Collectors of Behar and Chittagong for further trial, requesting that Mr.Manesty may be instructed to send a kind of gum, its tree, Persian date trees and fruits, and reporting on the cultivation of true Ceylon Cinnamon plants and Rajahmundry teak wood trees in certain districts.
