Copy of a letter from the Board of Trade, reporting the action taken with regard to the silk and cloth investments for 1787-88 submitting a copy of instructions prepared for the guidance of agents for providing the above investments recommending the reduction of Chiefships to Residencies and the placing of all the Factories upon a footing proportionate to the importance of each asking for the commucination of any remarks by the Board on the regulations lately formed fro weavers and submitting a statement.
