Letter from Mr. Hugh Boyd, reporting that he has despatched 20,000 bags of rice to Madras, requesting the payment of sicca rupees 10,000 , the balance of his expenses for the freight of the rice, and intimating that he is willing to undertake the despatch of another 20,000 bags of rice at the rate of sicca rupees 6 per bag.
