Minutes of the Governor-General, recommending permissionto Capt. Robert Bruce to resign the service, proposing that he may be recommended to the Court of Directors to be allowed to return to the service without loss of rank and suggesting that a paragraph should be added to the General Leter to the Court of Directors under despatch to suggest a reconsideration of their orders relating to the conditions on which leave is granted to officers returning to Europe for their health without losing their service.
