Letter from Capt. Francis Pinkerton, commanding the 98th Regiment submitting an account of arrears of allowances due to him up to the 30th September, 1784, with the vouchers amounting to pagodas 1,212-8-2, requesting an order for the payment of the amount before his departure for England, enclosing a certificate for rupees 6,206-3-4 from the Governor and Council of Bombay for payment of arears due to him and to some other officers while serving on the Malabar Coast, and requesting payment of the sum in India or an ordr for its payment by the Court of Directors immediately on his arrival in England.
