Letter rom Col. Patrick Duff, intimating that under instructions from Capt. Walker of the Chapman be attempted to deposit in the Treasury on behalf of Capt. Walker double the amount allowed to Capt. Walker on his cerrtificate, but that the Suh Treasurer rrefused the deposit, and requesting that the Board may grant Capt. Walker this indulgence , and direct the Sub Treasurer accordingly.
