Auriol Agent for supplies to the other Presidencies enclosing a copy of a ltter with enclosures from Mr. Peter Reed inforiming the Board that Mr. Reed after being paid the freight for the shipment of a carog of rice to Fort St. George refused either to fulfil his engagement or return the money adcisig the Board to enquire into the conduct of the pilot of the Dolphin since he ran her aground on her way out to sea remarking that owing to unusually rought weather there will be considerable losses from thedamages sustained by theships submitting his accounts for April and May and requestig an adcance of current rupees 2,00,000.
