Translation of a chop, dated the 46th year of the Emperor Kienling the 22nd day of the seventh moor or the 9th September , 1781 from the Tsongtoo,fooynem and Hoppo addressed t the supercargoes of the different European nations intimating that Capt. McClary conduct has been overlooked and that the Emperor of China will not permit acts of hostility between rival nations within his dominions.
