Draft of a letter to the President and Council of Fort. St. George, intimating the despatch of 5 laks of rupees in gold for their use on the Stafford, and instructing them, after landing the money to lade the military stores for General Goddards detachment on board and despatch the ships to Surat escorted by man-of-war, or failing this to instruct Capt. Hutchinson to take an unfrequeted route to Surat, and advising them to make use of an Europe ship for the conveyance of their exports to England asa Bengal ship cannot conveniontly be spared.
