Copy of a letter from Mr.J.Shore, Secretary to the Marine Board, to Mr.W.Hunter Surgeon to the Marine department, intimating that any additional allowance for the medicines of the Europeans and the lascars of the Marine department cannot be granted, declining to recognise the necessary of keeping two doolies at his house for the conveyance of the sick, and stating the procedure to be adopted un the case of European and Native invalids who are unable to take proper care of themselves.
