Letter from Mr.T.Dashwood, Civil Auditor, to Mr.D.Campbell, Sub-Secretary, enclosing a copy of a letter from the Civil Paymaster, and stating that the allowance for a munshi drawn by Mr.Battye ceased on the 14th August 1797, when he attained the rank of a Factor.
