Letter from the Governor in Council of Fort St. George,. intimating that they have opened their Treasury for receiving money at 12 per cent on the same terms as advetised in Bengal , requesting a supply of specie in order to relieve them fromtheir distress , suggesting the closing of their frafts on the Court of Directors and the continuation of the subscription to the 12 per cent loan, and proposing to make their 8 per cent bohnd transferable to Bengal.
