S - With copy of a letter from the Marine Board dated the 15th Instant - State that an Advance of Rs.8,000 has been made to Captain Hewitson of the Teignmouth Cruizer - That he has been authorized to draw his abstracts for Pay and allowances on the China Station - The Teignmouth to be placed in the same footing with respect to pay ect as the other cruizers employed to the Eastward.
